This book was originally stapled and quarterbound in red leather that had since turned to red rot. The pages had separated and come loose because the staples had rusted. The spine was missing.
I created a new spine in matching burgundy with a moriki-airplane linen laminate. I sewed the book down the side and mended some of the significant tears. Adding new endsheets, I cased the book into a sturdy and stabilized cover.
